The instrument
A real guitar, captured for feel.
We started with an original 1960 USA-made solid-body guitar and recorded it with the goal of capturing what makes it so playable - its character, response and subtle details. Every articulation, pickup combination and playing style was carefully recorded to give the instrument a natural, expressive feel.

The virtual instrument
Built around the way the guitar plays.
We turned those recordings into an instrument that lets you move naturally between patterns, chords and melodies. Detailed articulations, playing styles and performance controls work together behind the scenes, so the character of the original guitar comes through while you shape the performance your way.
